Pre-screening an applicant is a great way to collect information and insight on a potential tenant before purchasing a credit report. It can be a useful tool for landlords/property managers., especially when they receive multiple applications for rental units. SingleKey offers a free tool that allows landlords to pre-screen their tenants by using a simple and customizable form to collect information.
Step 1: Once you create an account and log in, please navigate to “Pre-Screen” at the very top of the toolbar. Select the “New Pre-Screen” option.
Step 2: Once you select the option “New Pre-screen”
- Enter the email ID of the applicant along with the address of the rental unit.
- You can customize and preview the application by clicking on the “Preview form” before sending it to the applicant.
- Additionally, you can “copy the pre-screen link” and share it through email or embed the link on a website too.
