Need to delay or skip a rent collection for the month? With SingleKey’s Rent Collection tool, you have the flexibility to manage upcoming payments with just a few clicks.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you skip or reschedule a rent payment:
🔄 Step-by-Step: Modify the Next Rent Payment
Step 1: Access Rent Collection
Log into your SingleKey account and navigate to the “Rent Collection” section.
Step 2: Open the Tenant’s Contract
Click on the tenant’s name to open their rent collection contract, then select the option “Modify next payment.”
Step 3: Choose to Reschedule or Skip
A pop-up window will appear with two options:

Reschedule

Skip
📅 Option 1: Reschedule the Payment (Delay)
To change the date of the upcoming rent collection (for the current month only):

Click “Reschedule”

Enter the new withdrawal date

Click “Continue”
⚠️ Note: Your tenant will receive an email notification informing them of the new payment date.
🚫 Option 2: Skip the Payment
If you want to skip the rent payment for the month entirely:

Click “Skip”

Click “Continue”
✅ Both you and your tenant will receive a confirmation email once the payment has been successfully skipped.
