As part of every Tenant Report, SingleKey sends a quick, optional survey to the landlord listed on the applicant’s form. If the previous landlord completes the survey, their responses will be available for you to view directly in your online report.
While this automated survey provides helpful insight, it’s important to note that we do not verify the information in this free version. However, the landlord’s contact details are included so you can follow up directly if needed.
If you prefer a more thorough and verified reference, SingleKey offers professional landlord and employment reference checks for just $19.99 each. Our team will personally reach out to the references provided and gather detailed feedback on the applicant’s rental or employment history.
You can order these in two ways:
Option 1: At the Time of Report Purchase
When placing your Tenant Report order, simply scroll to the “Add-ons” section on the payment page. There, you can select:

Option 2: After Viewing the Report
If you decide to request references after receiving the report:

Open the online version of your Tenant Report.

Click on “Request Reference Call.”

You’ll be redirected to the payment page to complete your request.
Once payment is processed, our team will conduct the reference calls and update you with the results.
